Bolbroke Castle Investigation with Surrey Paranormal

Hi

It's now 6:00am on Sat 26th September 2009 and i have just returned from a great night's ghost hunting with 'Paranormal Tours' who were Brilliant! My friend Jason and i were there suporting Surrey Paranormal.

The location was Bolbroke Castle which was Henry 8th's hunting lodge in Hartfield, West Sussex. It a beautiful big house that's run as a hotel and sits in the wonderful surroundings of West Sussex.

The 1st location our group went in was he Great Hall. We sat round a table and did some glass divination. The glass moved quite quickly and we found out that there were 8 apparent spirits in the room with us. We also found out that 2 of the spirits were 'new' and connected to 2 of the group, a mother and daughter. @ seated members, myself and another chap offered to be 'Yes' and 'no' answers to questions asked. i was to be the 'no' response. After 'talking' to the older spirits for a bit we found that one of the spirits was an uncle of one of the women present at the table. I asked a bunch of questions that had strong yes or no answers and it turned out that the spirit served during WW2 in Northern Europe which was correct. I asked loads of questions that were correct for this person which was fantastic. The person who knew who it was confirmed all our answers which was great.

Another 2 rooms were as flat as a pancake but the last 2 rooms were very busy with more glass divination that was strong one minute and weak the next, very odd. we also hears knocks coming from the bed and door area. Jason my friend was poked also which was interesting.

We had a mass vigual in the main room where we took breaks. Our medium said that there was a spirit that was going to affect the girls in the circle. Most of the women experienced very cold bottoms so temp readings were made of the affected women's backs and back sides and there was generally a 2 degrees difference with their backsides being the colder. after the vigual their bottoms returned to normal temp, the same as their backs. I was not affected.

One of the weirdest things was that i met an old neighbor that i used to say hello to and see most days when taking my kids to school about 7-8 years ago and there she was on the investigation!!! Sh said that she thought she knew me and indeed she did! Small world eh!

It certainly was. What was also funny was the more into the evening we got the more we laughed and were being very silly. I think this helped with the energies which is why we got so much 'glass action'!!! One spirit refused to use me as the 'no'answer and took the glass somewhere else for the answer 'no' When we had all finished and gone back to the 'base' room we (especially me) couldn't stop laughing. I was crying with laughter and had tears rolling down my cheeks, it was SO funny. I haven't laughed so hard so much for years.

It was a great night.
