I've put a link exchange on for my site so I thought it would only be polite to say hello!
For the last year and a half now my family have been victims of sustained paranormal attack. We have tried numerous times to get help. When things started going wrong in our home, I found the most frustrating thing was not knowing where to turn for help. I am well used to people calling the emergency services (given that I'm a copper myself) but who do you call for paranormal help? If only there were real life "Ghostbusters!"
We have managed to get things under control for now, but it's really taken it out of us and affected us deeply.
We are just an ordinary family and have no idea why this happened to us. I hope to be able to spend some time on this site, but it's difficult as I'm working full time, have four children, and am also trying to write a book on our experiences.
I am grateful for sites like these as they offer people the help they need. If anyone would like to contact me I'm happy to receive emails, but most of it is documented in our website. |

Hi, it has mainly been towards my husband, although we don't know why. We have taken on the help of exorcists thanks, and we hope this is all coming to an end soon. |

We have asked ourselves that question over and over again. I'm afraid we have come up with many theories, but nothing substantial as of yet. We are just an ordinary family, I have no idea why this happened to us. We are at the stage now where we hope it has gone, but it's hard to tell as it has disappeared for weeks before and come back again. |

Hello P.I. and welcome to the site.
For an unbiased, realistic appraisal of your predicament try contacting:

Good luck with the two books and the website promotion. Sounds like the British Amityville horror.

Thank you. It's only now that things have calmed down that we are able to tell people about it. At the time we just wanted a normal life and wanted it to leave. Now we have had some time to reflect we can see what an amazing story it is. Mike is currently giving some talks on the case (the next one being in York on 13th July) as well as featuring in Paranormal magazine next month. I know he will do our case justice and I hope that by publicising it, people will become more aware of paranormal activity. Like I said to my children, at least you will always have faith in life after death. |

Were you a believer in ghosts/spirits before you experienced these attacks P.I. ?

Hi, Well I've been brought up as a Catholic so that means yes. I have always had an open mind, although in the beginning I struggled comprehend it, even though I could see it with my own eyes. Lots of people have experienced and witnessed the activity, and one of them was an atheist. Needless to say this has made them question their whole belief system. |

Thanks I. P. From what I'm reading about 'The Essex Case' I can see you've had a lot of people see things that seem to defy any rational explanations. Are no details being released prior to the book being published though?. I've read Mike Hallowells South Shields Poltergeist and while it's an ok read I don't think it presented the evidence that both he and Darren Ritson claimed.
For the benefit of our other readers here's a review:
